JD Information Technology

After a month of computers with Duane we have 28 students certified in Service Advisor. The new computers were a great improvement. We connected to tractors and combines and practiced our diagnostic skills. We finished the class with some Features and Benefits presentations in the auditorium. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

We have been spending some time chasing electrons around the shop and some of them are found in computers. You gotta love those DLM's.

Electric 1 Class

We about half done with Electric 1 class and one of the things we discuss is electrical safety. I beleive that most have a good understanding of circuit protection by now and I think that we have all figured out that a 14 gauge wire will not handle 500 amps.

Free Lunch??

Well the Pedal Pushers Cafe has an offer that Brandon just couldn't refuse. The Big Bopper is six 1/4 pound bacon cheese burgers and a pile of fries for $38. If you can eat it all in an hour its FREE!!! Guess who won this battle!

I think he was getting ready to order a shake to top it off.

Annual Fall Bike Ride

Thriteen of us went to Lanesboro for a little bike ride (about 20 miles) and went out for supper afterwards. The weather was great and I think everyone had a good time but we will have to see what it feels like in the morning.

Off to a Good Start

We are studying tools, fasteners, safety and other boring stuff but we get to take combines apart and we don't have to put them back together.......yet!
