JD Tech Students Receive the FFA American Farmer Degree

Two of our students have received National Honors with the FFA. Andrew Conrad and Tyler Frush made the trip to the National FFA convention last week to be honored for the American Farmer Degree.

After 2600 miles I finally found some fall colors. I guess I just needed to go up North.

OJT Visits

I’ve been out visiting the second year students that are on the job. This is just a little evidence.

The Combine Is Finished

We got the combine finished just in time. The Fundamentals and Safety class is over and we have started Implement class.

Time For A Bike Ride

We went to Lanesboro for a little 27 mile bike ride and a big burger. It was a good time we’ll see how it feels tomorrow.

Welcome to a New Instructor

We would like to welcome Rodney Necker to the John Deere Tech program. He is no stranger to NICC. He graduated from the Farm Implment program a few years back (In the 80's) and has been at Sumner Implenent as a technician and Service Manager ever since. He has been involved with the training of several students there and has served on our Advisory Committee for many years. We are looking forward to the wealth of knowlege he will add to the program. If you get a chance stop in and say "Hi".
